A Glance at NYC

During the Christmas holiday, my parents decided to treat the gals (mom, older sister, and I) to a vacation in New York City. The fun-filled week included two shows - Shrek The Musical (very entertaining) and Next to Normal (good music, depressing story) - amazing breakfast joints including Friend of a Farmer and Good Enough to Eat, fulfilling my need for chocolate at Max Brenner (see pic below), oh, and shopping of course! All in all, it was quite the memorable vaca.

Upon one of our many excursions we decided to venture to the art mecca, SoHo. While wandering the streets, with hundreds of other people, we came across a wonderful place. Shiny objects galore and artistic wonder. It's called Sicis and their specialty is creating brilliant pieces of mosaic art.

And yes, that shiny piece of furniture that appears to be in the shape of a high heel, is in fact a bathtub (pricing starts at $17,000 and up). Oh boy!

The Big Apple never disappoints!
