Check out this gorgeous showhouse by designer, Tobi Fairley, featured on Traditional Home.  To create the "green" look in the bedroom and attached sunroom, she salvaged used furniture and accessories, layered the beds with organic linens, and low-VOC paint.  Just the right amount of bright and colorful.

You've heard of 'couch surfing', well I'll be 'sofa searching' pretty soon.  I plan to move to a new place in Dallas.  Since I live with my sister, we have been using her amazing modern sofa, but that means, I will need my own upon move out.  Here are a couple I like...

According to this article in New York Times, the varsity (letterman) jacket is on its way back in style.  I mean, it might as well be.  In fashion, everything is coming back in style –– most of them, I simply don't understand and want to scream, "please go back to the decade in which you belong!" –– anyone with me on this?  What do you think about this old school trend?  Did you have a letterman jacket in high school?

Pucker Up!

This evening, I'm headed to an event called Pink'd at the Dallas Galleria benefiting a local junior league.  The night is said to include beauty secrets, makeovers, sips & bites.  I'm pretty excited to take the night off and treat myself!  Other than tonight, I will be dog-sitting and visiting with some favorite friends over the weekend.  What do you have planned for the next few days?
