Change

Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Alright, bear with me for a bit on this post. Just thought I'd share a bit of my human side with you, rather than my likes and dislikes in design :) This past few weeks has been tough. My sweet grandmother is in the hospital and continues to be up and down in her health. And while this is going on, I find out that my close friend (actually my former beau) is moving a good 2-hour time zone difference from me — from Texas to California. And then there's other life happenings that I'm having a hard time dealing with. I'm not a huge fan of change (in these cases). But I do know that this is a time for growth and trusting God.

... And I'm not just dealing with it personally, but I am seeing hard change in the life of my family and friends as well.

How do you deal with change, whether it be the sickness or loss of a loved one, a broken heart or dealing with the everyday trials of life?

I struggle with change too. But I try to look at the potential that exists with it!

i'm dealing with change right now, too. it's so much easier when the change is good. i feel torn because i'm doing something so exciting, but my good friends are reacting to my move with sadness because it sucks for them. :( it's a weird thing at first, but after it all settles, it's amazing how normal things can start feeling.

I knew from a prior post that your grandmother was ill, but i thought she was doing better. I'm sorry to hear that she's still not doing so well. Well, you already know that my life is all about change(being a military spouse). I know that i have no control over what happens, therefore, i just have to trust God and let him lead. It's not always easy to accept that there are some things that you can't control. Also, the support of good friends and family is invaluable. I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Just pray and trust that it's all going to be ok. Change always helps spur growth... Thinking of you, lady!

I have a very hard time with change too...It often takes me forever to get over the change...Balazs is great in helping...He always says....Sweetie...a part of change is that it makes you stronger...and in a few years you will look back on it and think that....and understand, why:)

Its very hard but I truly hope that eveything will be ok with you and your grandma will feel better:)

Kisses,sweetie pie:)

i guess i've just found that when change comes, there usually isn't much i can do about it, so i just have to embrace it. the struggles can become challenges for me to rise to and overcome, making me stronger and more well-rounded. for me it's not so much "what is life going to throw at me?" but "what am i going to throw back?" :)

good luck with everything. cute blog!
